Replacing a keyboard on 2011 MacBook Pro is a bit of a challenge. For that matter 2009-2012 MBP share the same keyboard.
It takes some time to remove and then screw-back-in uncounted number of screws as small as 000 mm in diameter.
Took about three hours to deal with those screws alone (first time usually takes that long).
Although result is amazing! It is almost as good of a feeling as getting a new MBP in 2011.
On the top of replacing keyboard - all parts were cleaned with alcohol and all six years old dirt was removed.
Also, as Apple replaced keyboard last time over six years ago - I was able to see the results of a piss-poor job Apple does when they repair your Mac.
Apple used to issue a statement that they will not repair Macs from a smoking environment.
Before complaining - why not start paying attention to the details when repairing computers people love and pay premium to get!
